Claudia Solé

Claudia Solé is a multidisciplinary designer and artist based in Amsterdam. Trained at Marcel Wanders and Studio Piet Boon, she developed a strong foundation in materiality, craftsmanship and spatial presence. Through her art practice Maegéc, she creates symbolic artworks that explore the intersection of color psychology, cultural meaning and material contrast. Working with stainless steel, resin and mineral elements, her practice examines how objects influence the atmosphere of a space through the polarity between industrial precision and natural origin. Material contrast and symbolic reference define her work.
