I’m Phoebe, a self taught artist based in Hertfordshire, UK. 

I have always been fascinated with ocean life and have explored that interest through whatever creative outlet I could find: ceramics, crochet and even dance.

I discovered my natural painting ability somewhat accidentally, while trying to pass the time during the COVID lockdown. What began as something casual quickly grew into a genuine passion.

My practice currently centres around realistic depictions of marine creatures. I am particularly drawn to capturing their detail, texture, and natural presence, reflecting the simplistic beauty of the underwater world. As my practice evolves I would like to explore this marine theme through a balance of realistic and abstract styles.
