Nigel Hawthorn

Nigel is primarily a painter of expressionism, impressionistic or abstract landscapes in oils and acrylic. He has always had creativity at the centre of his life - from acting, singing and songwriting, hosting and presenting and writing - he decided to become a full-time artist in 2022. His works are often layered with impasto mark-making that reward close inspection as well as viewing from a distance. He has exhibited in the UK, France and Italy and has customers in California, Texas and around the UK. In 2025 his work “Yesterday’s Luxury” was shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Show. He works near Buckingham and is a committee member of Buckingham Art For All.
