Lana Dang

I am a self-taught watercolour and mixed-media artist based in Sydney, Australia. My artistic interest is combining traditional medium such as watercolour with unconventional media such as origami and fabric patterns, alcohol ink, as well as using optical illusion drawing techniques to create a refreshing perspective of familiar subjects. I have started my artistic journey since 2020 and have made satisfactory progress in technique, composition and exposure. I am proud to be a finalist in the 2023 Kennedy art competition and have attended and sold my paintings in a number of local exhibitions. My works are currently held in many private collections across Australia and overseas. I am a current member of the Ku-ring-gai art society in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
