As a young painter from Liège, I create abstract works to blur the boundaries between reality and the imagination. For me, art is a powerful source of freedom: the freedom to experiment, to create, and to transform perspectives. My practice is grounded in contemporary abstraction, using acrylic and mixed media on cotton canvases. I explore transformation as an existential process: on the one hand, the transformation linked to the passage of time, almost imperceptible, and on the other hand, the transformation linked to life’s inflections, more radical. Each work explores contrasts: between spontaneity and control, harmony and chaos, materiality and transparency, disappearance and trace. The viewer is invited to look beyond appearances and let themselves be carried away by their own interpretations.
