Damiano Zucco

Damiano Zucco is an italian photographer with a background in theater. He graduated from Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna with a BA in DAMS (Drama, Art and Music Studies), focusing on theater and cinema history, and from Goldsmiths, university of London, with an MA in Photography. His photography work explores themes like loneliness, escapism and contemplation. His previous projects explored the feeling of not belonging, the need to escape from a hopeless environment, dreams and humans’ fears. The subjects of his work are mainly people and environments emotionally close to the artist, seen through a perspective that mixes moments that become larger than life, dreams, and a personal meditation aimed to appreciate the simple elements of nature.
