Aidan Robertson’s practice is a defense of the digital "soul." In an era of AI exploitation and data harvesting, he uses speculative structures and otherworldly desert landscapes to protect the most vulnerable aspects of human memory. Through a lens of digital "hauntology," his work navigates the friction between the organic and the technological. He pairs ancient practices with modern tensions: soft woodwork against steel networks, and traditional copper etchings alongside digital renders of ancient urns. These works are supported by extensive worldbuilding - sketches and figures mapping a future where biology and technology are inextricably linked.
